December 5 - The outside staining is finished. The porch ceiling and deck will be finished later.
December 5 - The painter is starting to chink the cabin. This will take several days to complete.
December 5 - The columns, beams and soffitts are all stained gray to match the cabin.
December 7 - The plumbing rough in will be completed today. It is challenging in a log cabin since the second floor and first floor ceiling are the same board.
December 7 - Upstairs has two very nice acrylic bath tubs. Downstairs will have a tiled shower with a cultured marble base.
December 7 - Chinking is progressing nicely. It really changes the look of the house. Compare the front of the house (left edge of the photo) to see how it looks with no chinking.
December 14 - The air conditioning ducting is being installed. In the next day or two an air handlers will be installed in the attic for the second floor. The downstairs air handler will be under the steps.
