02 August 2022 - Work is continuing in this large room. The beams look really good.
02 August 2022 - The porch floor framing is solid.
02 August 2022 - Columns are being erected at the front of the house. They are being plumbed. Each column has a steel rod through the center to tie the foundation to the roof.
02 August 2022 - The guest house it taking shape. The interior trim is about finished.
02 August 2022 - Prep work is done to pour the slab for the garage.

02 August 2022 - This is the view from the front of the guest house. Notice the column work at the main house.

09 August 2022 - In the guest house, this beam is being covered with oak trim.
09 August 2022 - Samples of paint are on the wall. It is easier to decide what color looks best when the homeowner can see color samples.
09 August 2022 - Outside, this portion of roof is covered with Ice & Water (very heavy underlayment) in preparation for the installation of the roofing.
16 August 2022 - Siding has been replaced on the garage apartment. It will be ready to paint soon.
16 August 2022 - The slabs have been poured. They are covered so they don’t dry before they cure.
16 August 2022 - The front porch is coming together. Note the roof on the right now has underlayment on it.
16 August 2022 - The guest house is just about ready for painters.
16 August 2022 - The A/V closet has rough in wiring in it. The walls will be painted as they will be in the living areas of the guest house.

16 August 2022 - This is a really large home. It is quite open and airy.

16 August 2022 - The bedrooms are being framed. Notice the double studs on this wall. Pocket doors will be installed in the gap between the studs.
23 August 2022 - The outside of the guest house is being painted. The temporary ramp for access has been removed.
23 August 2022 - The garage parking area is uncovered. There is a light rain – notice the wet concrete in the background.
23 August 2022 - More construction is happening on the roof.
23 August 2022 - The front porch has been framed and sheathed.
23 August 2022 - Large windows are being installed along the rear of the main house.
23 August 2022 - Framing continues in the bedroom area.
23 August 2022 - The upstairs bath has been demoed in preparation for remodeling.
30 August 2022 - The roof is closed. Underlayment is being installed.
30 August 2022 - This is the inside ridge where the roof was closed. Note the steel structures.
30 August 2022 - The small dormer that was being built last week is complete.
30 August 2022 - The firebox on the porch is built. The blocks on the top are offsets to move the flue to the right.
