August 1 - The walls of the garage now have blocking for the wainscot. It will be installed in a day or so.
August 2 - Fiberglass insulation is being installed in the walls. Sound insulation will be installed around the bath room upstairs. This will complete the insulation.
August 3 - The closet has been built over the bottom staircase.
August 3 - Wainscot has been installed along the bottom of the walls on the upstairs room.
August 3 - The closet is near the stairwell. It is over the lowest set of stairs.
August 6 - Wainscot of concrete board is being installed in the garage. Narrower pieces of concrete board will be installed on top of this one to make it look like T-111.
August 6 - The stairs go down under the newly added closet.
August 8 - The sheet rock has been delivered. It will be installed in the next day or two.
August 9 - The second layer of cement board is now installed. The vertical boards make it look very much like T-111 suitable for garages (non flammable).
August 10 - The concrete board.
August 14 - Sheet rock is being hung in the garage. It should be finished tomorrow and painting will begin.
August 14 - The garage needs the deck finished and then the outside will be complete. A brick walk will be built between the house and garage.
August 17 - Sheet rock has been hung in the garage. It will be finished starting Monday.
August 17 - 5/8 inch thick sheet rock was hung downstairs in the garage. The wires in the ceiling are for the garage door opener.
August 31 - The sheetrock is finished and ready for priming. The double door frame leaning next to the closet gets installed in the closet.
