February 2 - The house was treated against termites today. Palmetto Exterminator sprays Bora-Care onto the wood to kill termites that contact it.
February 2 - The outside was sprayed with Bora-Care with dye so you can see it was applied. The inside is clear so as not to stain the floor.
February 3 - The house wrap was installed today. Window installation will start tomorrow.
February 3 - The garage looks nice with its housewrap on.
February 3 - The first load of windows have arrived. These are aluminum clad impact resistant and look very nice!
February 6 - The fireplace face is now complete. The boxes in the brick up high are for the TV power & video wires.
February 6 - The sloped shoulders of the chimney are finished now.
February 6 - Most of the doors and windows are now installed. Siding will begin once we receive final inspection.
February 9 - The garage is now ready for trim and siding.
February 9 - The house looks good with its windows in and chimney finished.
February 9 - The perimeter brick is started. Once all of the walls are laid a rowlock will be installed to cap them.
February 10 - The back has a lot of glass but there is a great view from the sun room inside.
February 10 - The sliding doors separating the house from the sun porch are now installed.
February 11 - Concrete pads were poured under the steps today. Steps will be laid next.
February 11 - This is where the steps in the back of the house will go. Eventually there will be a patio out back.
February 13 - The conduits in the garage mechanical area have been cut. Water pipes, electrical, communication and HVAC lines will run through them.
February 13 - The columns are installed on the front porch now.

February 13 - The near wall is for the kitchen island. The far wall is where the conduits from the garage come to.
February 13 - Can lights are installed in the kitchen and dining areas.
February 13 - The laundry ceiling has a hole for disappearing stairs but it is too small for the HVAC unit to fit through so we will be enlarging it.
February 13 - Plumbing for the master bath sink is done.
February 13 - A sink is plumbed in beside the fireplace just in case a bar sink is wanted here in the future.
February 13 - The rear steps are in progress. These steps will go down to a patio eventually.
February 16 - Flashing has been installed just above the brick rowlock course. The siding and trim will be installed next.
February 16 - The front steps are now in progress. Eventually the front sidewalk will extend from the bottom of the steps.
February 16 - The side steps are done. The top was left off so we can pour the landing with concrete and then add brick borders.
February 16 - The rear steps are done and look great!
February 16 - Plumbing and electrical rough-in are well on their way. A wet bar will go on this wall.
February 16 - The breaker panel is mounted on top of one of the conduits from the garage. The Data panel will go two bays to the right of it.
February 18 - The shed roof off the side of the garage is now framed.
February 23 - The box in the wall is where the conduits from the service, generator and house terminate. The breaker panel will be mounted above this.
February 23 - The exterior trim has started. They have some window trim and soffits done here.
February 23 - The windows look quite nice all trimmed out.
February 23 - Blocking has been added in the high ceilings to hold the finish trim beam work.
February 23 - The ceiling of the kitchen was also blocked for beams.
February 23 - The laundry sink and the washing machine have been plumbed in.
February 27 - This front gable wall is now finished with siding and trim.
February 27 - The siding and trim on the left side of the house is well underway.
February 27 - The back of the house trimmed out very nicely. The doors aren't trimmed yet but will be soon.
