02 August 2022 - Outside, the home is starting to look finished. Clearly, no landscaping or hardscaping has been done yet.
02 August 2022 - The trim is sanded and painted. The walls are also painted.
02 August 2022 - Exterior and interior doors are being painted in the great room.
02 August 2022 - The pantry shelves are painted and have a very nice smooth finish.
02 August 2022 - The entrance foyer is painted. The floor is still covered with heavy paper.
02 August 2022 - The paint is getting close to finished.
02 August 2022 - The wall in the background is one that had a lot of wood filler on it a week or so ago. Now, it is painted and looks very good.
09 August 2022 - The garage has some items stored for later installation. It has been primed.
09 August 2022 - Upstairs in the garage, the walls are primed and the wainscot is in place.
09 August 2022 - The stairway leading down to the auto bays is being masked for painting.
09 August 2022 - Masking has been removed from the windows as painting is proceeding.
09 August 2022 - Two of the French doors are painted and reinstalled.
09 August 2022 - The kitchen cabinets are still covered as painting continues.
16 August 2022 - The septic tank (concrete tank near house) and a pump tank (black tank with green lid) are being installed. The pump tank houses a pump (surprise) to pump effluent to the drain field.
16 August 2022 - Appliances are being installed. Here a tech is preparing a dishwasher to be installed.
16 August 2022 - A couple of inset cabinets are installed. The lower cabinet has the door removed for the installation.
16 August 2022 - The wall oven and range are in the queue for installation.
16 August 2022 - The range hood is being assembled.
16 August 2022 - The dryer has been unpacked and will be installed.
16 August 2022 - The closet rods will be made of heavy chrome plated steel tubing.
16 August 2022 - The walls and trim are painted. The handrail is finished. The stair treads are still covered to protect them.
16 August 2022 - The view from the upper hallway is amazing. Once the windows are cleaned, it will be really eye catching.
16 August 2022 - One of the upstairs baths has a shower. The final flooring is down in this bath.
16 August 2022 - The stair railings are very well done. The floor still has protective paper on it.
16 August 2022 - A second upstairs bath has a tub/shower combination.
16 August 2022 - There is a generous amount of attic storage. Note the foam insulation between the rafters. This will make the attic basically conditioned.
16 August 2022 - The handrail jogs to widen at the base.
16 August 2022 - The great room fireplace has been painted. A television will be installed over it (note the wires). The cabinet on the right will have doors and shelves.
16 August 2022 - Final touches are being done to the inset cabinets. The freezer or refrigerator will be installed when the cabinets are finished.
23 August 2022 - The septic drain field has been installed. The yellow tape is to make sure no one drives over it.
23 August 2022 - One wall of the garage is pegboard. It will probably be used to hand tools.
23 August 2022 - Cabinets and counter tops have been installed.
23 August 2022 - The double wall oven and range are now installed.
23 August 2022 - Light fixtures are being installed.
23 August 2022 - The bar has a sink and cooler as well as cabinets.
23 August 2022 - There are pendant lights over the bar in the kitchen. Workers are on site finishing up details.
23 August 2022 - Painters are doing the final work.
23 August 2022 - The master closet has a number of sections for hanging clothes and an island in the center.
23 August 2022 - The laundry room is nearly complete. The stacked washer and dryer are in place.
23 August 2022 - There is a dishwasher and farm sink on one side of the kitchen. The countertops are in place.
23 August 2022 - Masons are working on the brick borders and steps on the rear (water side) of the house.
23 August 2022 - The front of the house is looking good. The service yard needs paint, but most of the other exterior paint is complete.
30 August 2022 - Wainscot is up and painted in the garage. The floor has not been installed yet.
30 August 2022 - The cables are up for the railings on the porch.
30 August 2022 - The home is being cleaned in preparation for final floor finishing tomorrow.
30 August 2022 - More cleaning is being done. The protective heavy paper was on the floor.
30 August 2022 - Carpet has been installed upstairs in the hall.
30 August 2022 - Both upstairs bedroom have carpet installed.

30 August 2022 - This fireplace is about finished. The hole on the right side is for a gas line for the gas logs.
