December 4 - The front yard and drive is getting fill dirt to bring it up to grade.
December 4 - A parking pad is in place beside the garage. The temporary LP tank (white) is still back by the corner of the garage.
December 4 - A track hoe is getting ready to dig a hole for the 500 gallon LP tank.
December 4 - It is busy inside. An electrician (left) is wiring a light switch. Another electrician is working on a can light. The cabinet installer (right) is working on the cabinet installation.
December 4 - The LP tank is in the ground and 'filled' with 400 gallons of propane (tanks can be filled to 80% of their capacity). The technician is plumbing gas to the garage (to the left) and to the main house (lower right corner).
December 4 - There is a regulator (green) at each structure to reduce the pressure inside.
December 5 - Let there be light! The electrical system of the house is being powered.
December 6 - Masons are preparing to pour an apron for the garage doors. It will be tabby with a brick border.
December 6 - The walk to the front door will be brick.
December 6 - Inside, the floors are getting their final coat.
December 6 - A concrete foundation is being poured under the front walkway.
December 6 - Shell is being added to the wet concrete in front of the garage doors. It is spread liberally.
December 6 - Once the shell is spread, it is pressed into the surface. Once the concrete sets, it is gently washed removing the top layer of concrete and exposing the shells.
December 6 - The foundation for the front brick walkway is poured.
December 6 - A curved gravel walkway was added to the hardscape.
December 6 - From the road, the driveway circle is visible. More gravel will be added soon.
December 12 - The brick front walk is finished. Clearly, the landscaping is not finished yet.
December 12 - The tabby aprons in front of the garage are completed.
December 12 - Inside, things are being completed and rough cleaning has begun.
December 12 - The beams are stained. The last of the trim out is being completed.
December 12 - Plantation shutters have been installed in the master bedroom. There are three sliding panels.
December 12 - The tub and deck were completed a while back. A panel has been fabricated for the front of the tub.
December 12 - A cleaning lady is doing some early cleaning in preparation for inspection.
