January 6 - This is a panorama of a number of photos taken before any clearing.
January 11 - The soil boring truck is in position and taking soil samples.
January 11 - Most of the clearing is complete. The debris has to be removed. The marsh water is now visible. A bit more clearing will be done on Thursday.
January 12 - The track hoe used to clear the land is large. It did the job quickly. Hauling the debris took a day or so.
January 13 - The cleared area seems to be wet. When the results of the soil testing are received, we will know how to proceed.
January 20 - After a numbers of days with little rain, the soil is still very wet. Note the fog rising from the ground this morning. The soil testing report is due in a few days, so we will know what we need to do to insure this won't be a problem later.
