04 April 2023 - The dormers have flashing installed in preparation for laying the steel roofing.
04 April 2023 - The attic has a lot of mechanical (plumbing, electrical and HVAC) components in it. This is in the master bath area.
04 April 2023 - This is the view from the master porch of the screened porch and back terrace. Notice a couple windows are still backordered.
04 April 2023 - The screened porch is ready to be painted and then the porch screening will be installed.
04 April 2023 - The guest wing is on the right and the guest house in the distance. Windows of the guest wing have been masked for painting.
11 April 2023 - The roofing is nearly complete on the front of the main house. Roofers are continuing to work on other areas.
11 April 2023 - This is the guest wing of the main house. The roofer is putting the cap on the hip.
11 April 2023 - This is the back of the house from the master porch. The porch will be screened.
11 April 2023 - The mechanical systems are complete in the main house and insulation will be installed soon.
11 April 2023 - The exterior of the guest house is mostly complete. Work is now concentrating on the interior. It should be ready to occupy in a couple of months.
25 April 2023 - More standing seam steel roofing is being installed.
25 April 2023 - The main house has spray foam insulation in the roof and walls.
25 April 2023 - The pink fiberglass insulation is a sound barrier to make the home quiet.
25 April 2023 - The guest wing is also insulated.
25 April 2023 - The guest house has reclaimed wood flooring installed.
25 April 2023 - Cabinets are being installed in the guest house.
18 April 2023 - A dry wall tech is sanding the walls in preparation for interior trim and paint.
18 April 2023 - Openings in the top plate are foamed to prevent a “chimney effect” in case of fire.
18 April 2023 - Windows, materials and the fireplace have been masked in preparation for spraying foam insulation.
18 April 2023 - The spray foam insulation truck is on site and warming up. The foam material has to be heated before it is sprayed.
18 April 2023 - A gravel base has been laid for the driveway. A final layer of material will be placed over the gravel near the end of the project.
