May 11 - The suspended slab on the back porch and the outdoor kitchen was poured today.

May 18 - This is the house as seen from across the lake. The calm water makes a nice 'mirror'. If you look closely, you can see the outdoor kitchen (to the left of the chimney) is not sheathed yet.
May 22 - The back porch and outdoor kitchen are roofed now. The weather has been rainy and that has been challenging.
May 22 - Here the outdoor kitchen roof is sheathed and covered with Ice and Water shield. It has the diagonal brace just to the left of the chimney. The rear porch roof is also in place.

May 24 - The rafters are being erected in the great room. Ceiling joists will be installed in the next day or so.

May 30 - This house has about 80 windows. It will take three truck loads to get them here. Two trucks have arrived with one due tomorrow.
May 30 - The windows are impact and large so they are very heavy.
May 30 - Even with the rain, two windows have been installed. The framers have built a scaffold to make installing the windows easier.
May 31 - The windows have been installed in the master wing hallway, south gallery, laundry and powder bath. The weather has been rainy. Note the puddle in front of the porch.
