December 1 - The screen wire was installed on Monday. Tuesday the hardware cloth on the bottom will be installed.

December 1 - Drywall finishing began on Friday. They could not do more finishing on Monday because Drywall compound dries slowly when it is cold.
December 2 - The hardware cloth has now been installed on the bottom sections.
December 2 - Here is more of the drywall finishing. A really wide area was mudded to make the wall smoother where the joint is.

December 2 - This is the front door with one coat of spar varnish on it. It will be sanded and recoated to give the final finish.
December 2 - This is one of the gable brackets that has been stained to match the front door. It will get spar varnish on it over the stain soon.

December 4 - The screen porches are finished now. You can see that all of the trim is now installed over the screening.

December 12 - Some of the interior trim lumber arrived today. There is over 8,400 linear feet of trim all total. The rest arrives next week.
December 12 - The revised and much improved owner's entry walk is now formed for concrete. There will be tabby concrete bordered by bricks.
December 12 - Forming to provide a brick ledge is a complex task. All of the different boards define the form of the concrete as well as the ledge for brick.

December 24 - The service yard and owner's walk have been poured now with tabby concrete. There will be a brick border installed around the perimeter.
December 29 - Baseboard installation has begun. We are installing it first so that the baseboard outlets can be installed.
December 29 - The trim is started in the master bedroom. There will be panels below the windows once finished.
December 29 - The slate has been laid in the foyer. It has yet to be grouted. Notice the baseboard is installed here as well.
December 29 - Seats have been built in the showers out of concrete. Tile will be laid on them soon.
