November 1 - The rear dormer trim is complete and scaffolding is erected around the chimney in preparation for stucco.
November 1 - Good progress is being made on the foundation infill panels. The ones under the porch allow for ventilation.
November 1 - The foundation infill areas under the house are framed and ready for panels.
November 1 - This corner of the house shows the exterior paint sample. It's not a lot different from the primer color!
November 1 - The exterior trim on the front of the house is all complete with the exception of the porches.
November 2 - The foundation infill panels are complete for under the house. These are solid so the crawlspace can be sealed.
November 2 - Stucco work has started on the chimney.
November 2 - A few more infill panels are complete. The open space will have a door built in for access.
November 2 - The last few infill panels are nearing completion. One of these open areas will also have an access door.
November 2 - Tongue and groove boards have arrived for the ceilings of the porches.
November 2 - The propane gas supply is now installed. This stub up will be for the outdoor grill on the breezeway.
November 2 - Pocket door tracks are now installed. The openings were furred down to match the exterior doors and windows.

November 2 - This pocket door goes to the pantry. The track is installed and ready for sheetrock.
November 2 - We boxed around the return air duct in the front coat closet, leaving room beside it for tall things to hang.
November 2 - The pocket door leading to the master closet is reframed to be a single door and centered in the room.
November 3 - Shingles are delivered in preparation for the roofing to start.
November 3 - Shingles have started! The first side of the garage is nearly complete.

November 3 - Extra framing was added to the porch floors to stiffen them and prepare them for the flooring.
November 3 - Stucco is coming along nicely on the chimney.
November 6 - The drip edge was installed around the edges of the roof today. Tomorrow will be shingle installation on the house.
November 7 - Shingles are mostly complete on the front side of the house.
November 7 - Shingles are nearly done on the back side and the stucco is almost finished on the chimney.
November 7 - Now that the shingles are complete the metal roof portions can be installed.
November 7 - The garage roof is finished complete with the ridge vent and cap.
November 10 - The garage is all primed and ready for the top coats of paint.
November 10 - The primer is tinted to match the top coat of paint. This is ready for its top coats now.
November 10 - Insulation was added to the return duct inside the house. Underneath the ducts will be insulated with spray-foam.
November 10 - The boxing detail around the dining room opening was adjusted upward to properly fit the cabinets.
November 14 - The front porch decking is installed. It looks shiny because of a protective plastic film which will be removed later.
November 14 - The house is really looking good with its shingles and final coats of paint up top.
November 14 - Some trees were removed over the weekend. These were all pines that could have hit the house if they fell.
November 14 - The painters are working to finish the back side above the roof. Some of these areas are very hard to reach!
November 17 - A picture from on top of the front porch floor. You can see one of the protective strips peeled back.
November 17 - The back porch floor is also finished. The only thing left to do here is trim the edges straight.
November 17 - A new angle of the rear views shows the house looking very nice.
November 17 - The left side of the house is looking good. The trim is nearly painted and ready for siding paint.
November 20 - A guy in a haz-mat suit is spraying foam insulation into the wall and roof cavities.
November 20 - Insulation is installed in this area of the upstairs. The bare walls are the interior portions.
November 20 - The left side attic roof is all insulated now. The hole for the stove pipe is visible but it's covered outside by a hood.
November 20 - Roofing panels are fabricated and ready for installation.
November 20 - The chimney cap and wind screen were installed today. They look great!
November 21 - Most of the insulation is now installed. This is sound batting for the master closet.
November 21 - The walls and roof above the master bedroom are sprayed with foam insulation.
November 21 - The windows are masked off while spraying insulation to keep them clean.
November 21 - The spray-foam insulation is excellent for us in roofs that double as ceilings.
November 21 - The rafters are filled with foam insulation all the way to the ridge beam.
November 21 - Sound batt insulation is added around all bedrooms and bathrooms.
November 21 - The painters are nearing completion on the exterior. They will have some trim to paint out in the back.
November 21 - We built a door for access to the underside of the house. The back side of this doors is insulated as well.
November 29 - The painters are removing masking from the windows now that they are finished on the exterior of the house.
November 29 - Steps are built up to the breezeway and are awaiting their treads. The red line is where the level of the fill dirt will be.
November 29 - Drywall board is delivered and ready for installation. Just have to finish the roof first!
November 29 - Drywall was placed on the second story as well so installers don't have to carry it upstairs.
