01 November 2022 - Trim is finished around the chimney on the back porch.
01 November 2022 - Carpenters are finishing one of the vaulted ceilings.
01 November 2022 - Wood is being installed around the great room fireplace.
01 November 2022 - The lot is nice and shady. There were a number of trucks and trailers here today.
08 November 2022 - Beams are going up in the house. The far beam is just construction lumber. The close beam has been wrapped in poplar.
08 November 2022 - More beam wraps are built. They will cover beams in the ceiling.
08 November 2022 - Drywall finishing is being done in one of the rooms.
08 November 2022 - This room has a wood ceiling. The joints in the wood will be covered with trim (beams).
08 November 2022 - The septic tank is on site.
14 November 2022 - The tile installer has been doing prep work for tile. This is the shower in the guest wing.
14 November 2022 - The orange material is a decoupling membrane. It is installed first to prevent any cracks from the sub floor telegraphing up to the tile.
14 November 2022 - The decoupling membrane is fastened to the sub floor with the same thin set adhesive that will be used to lay the tile.
14 November 2022 - The great room beams are being roughed in. They will be covered with trim materials and painted.
14 November 2022 - Beams are being installed on the ceiling. The ladder is where a second beam is being built.
14 November 2022 - The membrane is made of a pattern of recessed areas where the thin set between the membrane and tile forms a mechanical bond. This is one of the baths upstairs in the garage.
14 November 2022 - This is another garage bath. The pad is on the membrane because the thin set holding it down is still green. Once it sets (probably in a day), tile will be laid.
23 November 2022 - The beams are built and installed throughout the house.
23 November 2022 - A wood band will be installed around the room where the beams intersect the walls.
23 November 2022 - Interior trim (crown and casing) is installed in this room off the MBR.
23 November 2022 - Here are more beams in the kitchen area.
23 November 2022 - This tub surround has been tiled.
23 November 2022 - The shower floor in the guest wing has been tiled. The walls will be next.
23 November 2022 - This room has beams only on the ceiling, not across the room.
23 November 2022 - Both baths over the garage have their floors tiled.
23 November 2022 - This is the second over the garage bath.
29 November 2022 - Trim carpenters are working on the fireplace surround in the great room.
29 November 2022 - The tile craftsman is continuing to lay tile. This is the bath off the great room.
29 November 2022 - The finish floor is being laid.
29 November 2022 - Flooring is also being laid in the back hallway near the covered walkway.
29 November 2022 - The master bedroom is ready for paint.
