June 5 - The walls around the stairs are framed.
June 5 - Interior wall framing is now complete.
June 5 - Blocking is added to pad out the I-Joist rafters where the ceiling joists attach.

June 6 - Ceiling joist installation has begun.
June 6 - This section of roof will be removed to build the dormer. The insulation is removed first.
June 7 - All of the ceiling joists are in now that can be done before the dormer is built.

June 12 - We started the dormer today and here the roof is being removed.
June 12 - The roofing is removed and the outside wall is framed.
June 12 - The rafters are in place and the new roofing is installed at the end of day!
June 13 - The dormer is nearly dried in now. Just the walls need covering.

June 14 - The rest of the ceiling joists in the dormer are installed now.
June 14 - This is the wall of the dormer with the windows in it. The holes will be opened up later.
June 14 - The room is very spacious now that it's all framed in.
June 18 - The windows have arrived and are upstairs awaiting installation.
June 18 - The HVAC rough-in is coming along nicely. This is the trunk line for the third floor.
June 18 - The large trunk lines are in place and attached to the unit. Branch lines go in next.
June 18 - HVAC outlet boots are installed in the new dormer.
June 19 - The attic lights are moved over to be in the new attic area.
June 19 - Electrical rough-in is now complete. Here you can see some of the can lights.
June 20 - The dormer is all dried in and the shingles are finished on top.
June 20 - The new ductwork goes through the corner of the closet.
June 20 - The ductwork will go down the slope at the end of the bedroom.
June 24 - Windows are now installed and we are ready for framing inspection.

June 24 - A windows seat will cover the ductwork beneath the windows.
June 24 - All of the ductwork is in place now and has been boxed around for sheet rock.
June 24 - The second attic access door is now framed in.
June 26 - Sheet metal is placed around the plumbing and then sealed off under the tub.
June 26 - Another can light was added to light the stairwell.
June 26 - The insulation is all finished now. Only the exterior portion of the wall is insulated.
June 26 - The roof received a heavy coat of insulation. The spray foam will keep the attic nice and cool.
June 26 - Spray foam makes a good draft block inside of walls. This keeps the wall cavity sealed off in case of fire.
June 26 - Spray foam was applied around all of the new ceiling joists to reseal the roof.
June 27 - Drywall was delivered today and will be installed tomorrow.
June 27 - It was quite a bit of drywall for such a small area.
June 27 - The soffit and trim is finished on the dormer and siding will start tomorrow.
June 28 - Just a few more sheets to install and the sheetrock will be done. Interior trim is next.
June 28 - The dormer is now finished on the outside and ready for paint.
