December 14 - One wall of the powder bath will be 'tiled' with thin bricks. Cement board has been put on that wall. The wall between the wing walls in the kitchen (behind the range) will also be thin brick. It also has the cement board on it. Bricks are being cut so when the tile sub starts, he can lay the bricks quickly.
December 14 - The shower walls in bath #3 are almost complete. The floor of the shower has not been tiled yet.
December 14 - This is one set of windows in bedroom #2. The windows are trimmed, but the crown is not in place yet.
December 14 - This is the hallway from bedroom #2 to bath #2. There is a mock up of the crown in the far corner. The black object at the top of the photo is an air conditioning vent.
December 14 - This is the shower in bath #4. The walls are complete. The floor will be done once the wood flooring is installed.

December 14 - About half of the reclaimed oak flooring has arrived. This is half of that load. It will be installed in a few days. Even though the home is large, it is taking a lot of coordination to get materials moved around so they are not in the way.
December 14 - The front porch is being prepped for slate. The outdoor slate is laid. The back porch slate is also laid. None is grouted yet. Once this porch is done, the small south entrance porch will be finished. Then the patio in the rear will be finished.
December 14 - Trim is going around the breakfast room windows. Note the panels at the bottom. The walls are wood panels.
December 14 - This is a close up of the under window panel. It really adds to the look of the room. These panels (or variations on them) are throughout the house.

December 14 - These are the windows in the sitting room. The crown has not been installed in this room yet.
December 14 - One set of windows in the master bedroom has been trimmed. The window on the right side has not because a television mount will go on this window and that will affect the trim. This mount will allow the television to go up into the ceiling when it is not being viewed.
December 14 - This is the master hallway. The master bedroom is on the right. One of the double pocket doors is visible. The next room is the linen closet area. Her closet is off to the right in this room. The second room is the master bath and the furthest room is his closet.
December 14 - The master bath has vertical 8in boards on three of the walls. The panel in this room (which will be behind the tub) is the vertical wood.
December 14 - This fourth wall will have wood chevrons on it. This is the wall where the lavatories will be mounted. The doorway in the center of the photo leads to a vestibule. The shower is on the left (and visible in the photo). The water closet is on the right (and not visible).
December 17 - This is the great room from the kitchen opening. The fireplace is at the far wall.
