September 19 - This is the front door. Since it is an in swing door, we will cover the jamb with black powder coated aluminum. Brick will be on this wall.
September 19 - The outdoor kitchen will have this short piece of siding. The vertical trim board will be removed and bricks will start at the siding.
September 25 - The outdoor kitchen door will have brick set back an inch from the edge of the door. This will give a bit of clearance for the door to open and still cover the mounting screws.
September 27 - The guest house roof will be complete today. Mechanical rough in inspection is tomorrow (Friday).
September 27 - Bricks are going up on the front of the house.

September 27 - The house is beginning to look finished on the outside. Next week, we will begin to work on the back stairs and finish the roof. Notice the very left side of the house does not have roofing yet.
September 27 - The generator was delivered today. It is large so it will support all of the air conditioners in case of a power failure. It will be hooked up in the next few days.
September 28 - Brick work is continuing. The north wall is finished. The east (front) wall is finished to the top of the windows and door.
September 28 - We are waiting for the lintels (to support the bricks over the openings). While we are waiting, we are working on bricks on the rear.
September 28 - Bricks are going up in the outdoor kitchen. The long wall will have a counter top with a grill, sink and other appliances.
September 28 - When the bricks pass the chimney, they will turn towards the door and then follow the wall around the corner and to the kitchen wall. Again, these walls will go up to the top of the doors until the lintels arrive.
